Working the studio--Birthday Pics

Yesterday I utilized my natural light studio to take pictures for Bryce's second birthday. His mamma is so good at getting him to smile and laugh which helped me get some pretty cute images of him!



















And these are just the beginning!

Fantastic Family

Last Wednesday I drove out to Georgetown to photograph the Daulton family. We had a perfect setting sun and the most beautiful surroundings. Pair that with a fantastic family, and presto! Precious photos (if I do say so myself..heehee)!











I have so many more to share, but need to wait until she gets her cd!

Werner Newborn

Yesterday morning I journeyed to Northern Kentucky to meet the sweet little Werner newborn and his mom and dad. We started the session by doing some family shots in their family room.

I had an enormous amount of fun while working with this family! More to come of just baby soon!

A Gender Reveal Session

A gender reveal session (in case you didn't know) is when pink or blue helium-filled balloons are put in a box (unbeknownst to the couple) and the photographer takes pictures as the couple opens the box and sees for the first time the gender of their unborn child as the color of the uprising balloons gives the secret away.

I was flattered that the Scheel family asked me to take their gender reveal photos at the end of May.
























I think it's safe that they are beyond excited to welcome a new little girl into their family!

Long awaited update: Bloom Family

It has been an eternally long time since I have updated this blog. I had grand designs to redesign this blog (and I still do), so I kept telling myself that I would add my photos once I updated it. Well, here we are in August, and I haven't touched this blog once. Sigh. There are quite a few sessions that I will post, but for today we will start with last Saturday's session: The Bloom Family.

Mom, Dad, twin girls, and three-year-old son made for an awesome time spent at a local park.

This was one easy-going, laid back family and I thoroughly enjoyed capturing their moments. I will post more once she receives her cd.
