One of my last sessions before the holidays was with the Bishop/Kelley families. We took a variety of family poses as well as some individuals of the babies. Here are some of the pictures from that fun-filled shoot!

Since it gets dark now by 5:30 and the temperatures are dipping into the 30's, I thought it might be time to try some studio shots. I was a bit nervous since I haven't used strobe lights on clients, but I think it's safe to say that things turned out well!









After getting a few family shots, we worked on getting some shots of Annabelle. I just think this little girl is one of the cutest that I get to work with!

On Saturday, I had an amazing time photographing the Fenner girls! They had me laughing the entire time we were there. Here are just a few of their pictures!

Today I did a mini-session with the Strine family. Edie just wanted a few quick pictures with her family and of her grandson, Jack. They were so easy to work with and Jack was such a cute baby!

At the end of my session with the Wright family,little Mya was done with having her pictures taken, so I thought maybe we could try taking some pictures lifestyle-wise--letting them play together and snapping pictures as they play. I have to say, I am quite pleased with the results and think I really like this lifestyle way of photographing families. I feel that the smiles are more real and the joy of being a family is more visible than in the posed portraits.
